Emily is a calligrapher based in Denver, Colorado who specializes in a unique, modern style of calligraphy for live on-site events, brand activations, and private clients.

When she was young, Emily knew she wanted to be an artist when she grew up. After getting a degree in early childhood education and working many odd jobs (none of which involved her degree), she finally came back around to her old passion of art when she created Emily A Howell Calligraphy + Design.

By doing calligraphy for live events, Emily is able to put her passion to work while also engaging with new and fun people. She is also able to push the boundaries of what you can do calligraphy on - mugs, wine corks, you name it, she can make it happen!

In addition to corporate events, Emily enjoys working in the wedding industry designing invitations and signage for couples on their big day. Working with clients to make their wedding day beautiful with calligraphy is rewarding and creatively challenging.
